What is Chiropractic care like at MAGNA?
Well for most of you it is no secret that Chiropractic is the largest form of alternative health care.It is also one of the safest forms of care for neuromuscluloskeletal conditions.
Here at MAGNA we have multiple doctors with numerous years between them. Our unique approach has been to work hand in hand with the medical community from the very beginning. You can ask any medical doctor in our area who the most widely referred to Chiropractic facility is from an MD's office and you will hear MAGNA over and over again.
Unlike most Chiropractors, we feel that in order to help the body heal itself we not only have to address the frame (Skeletal) system but also the Musclular and Nervous system as well. This is why we get alot of "tough case" referrals from our Medical counterparts. We look at the patient's symptoms and make an accurate diagnosis based off the entire system. Not just the old "bone out of place" scenario that is still common today.
We also work hand in hand with your medical doctor. Many times you will have both parties working together with your care plan. You see patients usually present to us with two main components.
1. Mechanical Pain
2. Inflammatory Pain.
Chiropractic care, combined with Spinal Rehabilitation, works very well for Mechanical pain. In some cases it will even help with the Inflammatory pain. However, in most cases the Inflammatory pain needs the aid of the Medical doctor. This is where we work side by side with your Doctor to ensure you get the best care possible.
We also don't have our patients coming three times a week for the rest of their lives as most Chiropractors do. We feel that in a relatively short period of time we can correct most mechanical disfunctions and have you on your way. There are some cases and individual preference that deems it necessary to come in once a month for a wellness checkup. Some of our patients realize the importance of that and bring in their entire family.
We also don't like our patients waiting to see the Doctor. We realize that you, like is, have busy lives, and don't feel like it should be spent waiting. When you come in at your scheduled appointment time, we strive to have you never wait 10 min or more. New patients are seen the same day.
We are fortuniate to be connected with the local hospitals and imaging center. This can help alleviate long delays for any imaging performed and results so you can begin your road to recovery much sooner.
